Our Kids: The American Dream in Crisis is a groundbreaking examination of the growing inequality gap from bestselling author and New Hampshire resident Robert D. Putnam. Putnam's research on the growing opportunity gap in America sparked a passionate conversation in the Granite State and inspired leaders from across the political spectrum to come together and form Our Kids New Hampshire. Spark NH is New Hampshire’s governor-appointed Early Childhood Advisory Council, dedicated to improving the lives of young children and their families.

New Hampshire Kids Count is dedicated to improving the lives of all children by advocating for public initiatives that make a real difference. 

The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation helped launch Our Kids New Hampshire by convening a group of cross-sector leaders to meet with Robert Putnam and bring conversations about the growing opportunity gap to the Granite State. Through its New Hampshire Tomorrow agenda, the Foundation is committing a minimum of $10 million a year in several high-impact strategies to ensure that all New Hampshire kids have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
